• Beijing 2002

  These photos were taken during a two-week business trip to Beijing, China, during October of 2002. I had the good fortune to arrive in-country during the last few days of the National Day holiday, which celebrates China's founding under its current government. This gave me two days of sightseeing time, and I made good use of them!

• Tianjin 2003

  I took my second business trip to China, this time the industrial city of Tianjin, in April 2003. Tianjin is just about 100 kilometers from Beijing. It is a city of great contrasts, with modern urban life coexisting side-by-side with traditional street markets.
